Hilary wrote a book on pink construction paper, tied together with yellow yarn when she was 6, the age before you start second guessing yourself. Then followed a 45-year fallow period, when she worked as a forester, bought a farm house and had three kids. After writing almost every day for the past three years, she joined the writers circle to find support in putting more structure and goal setting to her writing. She uses writing poems and short fiction to make sense out of the contradictions and complexities of real people in everyday situations. She lives in Deep River.
